Valérie Tollet is an expert in the field of taxation, with 20 years of experience as a tax specialist in consulting firms in Belgium and Luxembourg. With degrees in law and tax law, she has developed sharp expertise in these areas.
In 2020, Valérie joined the ACA (Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies of Luxembourg) as a Legal and Tax Advisor. In her role, she was responsible for matters related to international life and non-life insurance, reinsurance, as well as various working groups within the organization. Her scope of work also included Luxembourgish and international tax issues, where she played a key role in representing the ACA in the UEL’s Tax Taskforce.
Beyond her tax-related responsibilities, Valérie also provided support to ACA members in human resources, showcasing her versatility and dedication, and her ability to take on strategic responsibilities within the organization.
In January 2022, Valérie became Insurance Mediator, and in April 2022 was promoted to ACA, becoming a member of the Executive Committee. She is responsible for the work and management of the International Life, International Non-Life and Reinsurance Commissions.
Furthermore, Valérie is also involved with the ASTF (Association for Occupational Health in the Financial Sector) as a board member and Secretary.
Due to her deep expertise, professional commitment, and involvement in association initiatives, Valérie Tollet was appointed Deputy CEO of ACA in March 2024.
