Signing of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for insurance companies 2024-2026: a new chapter for the insurance sector and its employees

The Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (ACA) and the trade unions ALEBA, OGBL, and LCGB are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached between all social partners.

The agreement has been approved by the respective decision-making bodies of each party and was signed on June 4, 2024, for the years 2024, 2025, and 2026, following several months of negotiations.

The new Collective Agreement introduces the following benefits for employees:

  • Allocation of a “prime de conjoncture” (in 2024, 2025, and 2026);
  • Allocation of an exceptional “attractiveness” bonus totaling EUR 1300, which will be paid in 3 installments over the years 2024, 2025, and 2026;
  • Increase in starting salary scales for new hires;
  • Adjustment of threshold 1 and threshold 2 for all employees;
  • Out of the 40 hours of training credit, 2 hours will be dedicated to occupational health and the prevention of psychosocial risks;
  • Reduction of training hours required for the award of the proficiency bonus;
  • Allocation of hours of credit for the health delegate.

The trade unions and ACA believe that the social dialogue has been effective and respectful of each party’s interests and that the outcomes of these negotiations are beneficial to the insurance sector, its companies, and its employees.
