Law of December 19, 2020 on the implementation of restrictive measures in financial matters

Competent Authority

The Ministry of Finance is the competent authority for financial sanctions. Due to the significant growth of financial restrictive measures, the Ministry of Finance has published various documents on its website, such as guides to good conduct, questions and answers and other useful documents.

ACA Task Force Work

The ACA’s International Financial Sanctions Working Group includes representatives from all of its members subject to international financial sanctions legislation. The work of this WG has resulted in recommendations on the minimum measures to be implemented by its members under this legislation.

These recommendations are included in the circular letter 20/12 published by the Commissariat aux Assurances on its website, the CAA strongly recommends that all relevant non-life insurance and reinsurance companies follow these minimum guidelines
