Looking Back at the ACA General Assembly 2025

The ACA General Assembly is a special moment where the past meets the future—a time to reflect on the journey so far, honor those who paved the way, and shape the horizons of tomorrow together. The presence of H.E. Gilles Roth, Minister of Finance, fully underscores the significance of this key event.

Following its 69th General Assembly, the ACA Board of Directors elected Nicolas Limbourg, CEO of Vitis Life, as President of the ACA for a two-year term.

With extensive experience in the insurance and wealth management sectors, Nicolas Limbourg succeeds Christian Strasser, Managing Director of Lalux, continuing the ACA’s mission to represent and promote the Luxembourg insurance and reinsurance industry. The ACA warmly thanks Christian Strasser for his dedication and the progress achieved during his presidency.

Holding a Master’s degree in Law from the Catholic University of Louvain, Nicolas Limbourg began his career as a notary candidate before joining the life insurance company Vitis Life, a subsidiary of the Monceau Assurances Group, in 2000. Since 2013, he has served as CEO and Managing Director of Vitis Life S.A.. He also holds several positions within the Monceau Group, acting as Deputy CEO of Mutuelle Centrale de Réassurance in France and as Managing Director of Monceau International S.A. and Sarp Europe in Luxembourg. Actively involved in the development of the Luxembourg insurance sector, he previously served as Vice President of the ACA Board of Directors and currently chairs the International Life Commission.

« It is an honor for me to take on the presidency of the ACA at a time when our industry faces major challenges, particularly in terms of regulation, innovation, and sustainability. I am committed to working alongside our members to strengthen Luxembourg’s competitiveness and attractiveness as a center of excellence for insurance. »
